This original piece is of a pair of common wombats drawn in graphite pencil on Fabriano Studio watercolour paper.  The original drawing measures 29.7cmx42cm.

This mother and juvenile were wandering across the grassy plains of Tasmania, stopping to scratch and graze. This scene reminds the artist of a toddler at her heals and hence she named it Toddlerhood.

Common wombats are the most abundant of the wombat species, but are under threat from habitat and burrow destruction and mange.

This peice is currently unframed, but framing can be arranged on request.
